I'm not sure which board this best belongs to, and I know JeanTate already asked the same questions somewhere.
How was the quenched sample selected? How was the control sample selected?

Indeed, I wrote "One section of the paper we're all going to (eventually) write will be a description of how the Quench Sample (QS) and the Quench Controls (QC) were selected.", on August 2 2013 4:40 PM.
But it is in a post in a thread called Framework and suggestions for Data Analysis Phase! 😮
Not only would you not think of reading such a thread for such a comment, but I can't even give you a link to the particular post (in this version of Talk, as of today, you can get the URL for a thread (the OP), or for the last post in a thread, but nothing else).
