Galaxy Zoo Starburst Talk

"Our goal is to complete Stage 1 in 2 weeks (by August 1st)" - Achieved!

As few minutes' ago, on the main site, I read "Stage 1: Galaxy Classification [...] 100.2% done!"

I guess one of the SCIENTISTs will post something later today, and introduce ...

Stage 2: Data Analysis & Discussion

In this Galaxy Zoo project, you will not only carry out the
classification of our sample of post-quenched galaxies, but we will
collaboratively analyze the data, discuss the results, and write an
article to submit to a professional journal.

Analysis and discussion is a really fun part of the scientific
process. What did we find? What science questions can our data
address? What plots and other visualizations can I create to make
sense of the data? What do the results mean? How do our results
compare to those from other research studies?

These questions lie at the heart of the scientific process.

Luckily, we have great online tools to help facilitate our data
    analysis and discussion of results.

We will use tools.zooniverse.org to analyze the data from the classification phase.
We will use TALK to discuss our analysis procedures, results, and objects of interest.
