The object appears is different all-sky surveys. The 2MASS colors seems to be a unreddened red dwarf star J-H=0.42 H-Ks=0.2

Per SDSS, red spot is classed as a galaxy. No z available.
Several blue spots. Partial image of galaxy.Posted

The red dot is most probably a foreground star from our galaxy. Btw, SDSS sometimes does get it wrong !
