    I got this one today. When I tried to collect it I noticed that it is already listed in one of my collections. Is the software expected to repeat images?

    It is likely that it's in the database twice, or even more.

    It's in Stripe 82, a part of the sky which was imaged many, many times. When the photometric pipeline analyzed the images, it often identified as two (or more!) separate objects the same galaxy, and even the same part within the same galaxy (e.g. the nucleus/bulge). Most times these (spurious) separate objects are identified merely as 'secondary', so can be avoided when selecting objects for projects like Quench (however, sometimes "secondary" objects are quite real, and quite separate! For example, overlapping galaxies).

    In this case, there are 23 separate secondary objects, within 0.002' of the position of this; here, for example, is one of them:
