If you look at this as an inverted image then it looks like there is a "ring" around the core. Anyone any suggestions?

Certain barred spiral galaxies and galaxies with Active Galactic Nuclei have features called nuclear rings, which are ring-shaped star formation configurations around the AGN. Not sure if this is the case for this galaxy or not, any other thoughts?

No ring for me; maybe the MWV will help?
There's a background cluster, maybe two; perhaps the orange elongated blob (bottom right) is a background galaxy, making this an #overlap?
