Arms or ring

  I've gone on the safe side and classified it with arms, but my first blush response would have been to go with ringed. Are there any clues that I've missed that point to one or the other?

  The difference between a ring and disconnected arms is hard to tell in my opinion, but for a ring I assume there should not be that many "gaps" or places with a lack of brightness.
